Foundations of Coding uses a curriculum called Making With Code.

Making with Code is a set of free, open-source computer science courses and related curriculum exploring an approach to teaching computer science based in Constructionism (learning by doing).

I am Mrs. Wright and I am excited to share this information with you and see what you create with the tools you learn and watch you grow as you discover for yourself how to solve computer science problems. This is a half year course and we will be using Ubuntu (a Linux Operating System) and Visual Studio (a developing environment) for code editing and write our code in Python (a programming language). We will work through various labs that will introduce the foundations of coding and you will apply what you learn in your final project which will be a game of your own design.
